Zahi

Zahi is an Arabic given name that means "beautiful, brilliant" in Arabic. It is most famously borne by Zahi Hawass (born 1947), the Egyptian archaeologist and former Minister of State for Antiquities Affairs, known for his work on the Giza pyramids and the Valley of the Kings. Another notable bearer is Zahi Armeli (born 1957), an Israeli former football player who played for Maccabi Haifa. The name has a feminine form, Zahia.
