Prossy
Prossy is a diminutive of Proscovia, mainly used in Uganda. Proscovia is itself believed to be related to Praskovya, the Russian form of Paraskeve, which comes from Greek paraskeue meaning “preparation” or “Friday.” This name is associated with a 2nd-century saint martyred in Rome.
