Pachomius

Latinized form of Greek Παχώμιος (Pachomios), from Coptic Pakhom, from Egyptian pꜣ "the" and ꜥẖm "falcon". By folk etymology it was linked to Greek παχύς (pachys) "thick" and ὦμος (omos) "shoulder".
